Hamburg Airport

from airport Hamburg to Luebeck (distance Hamburg- Luebeck: about 70 kilometers):

• airport bus "Traveliner" directly from Hamburg Airport to the central bus station in Luebeck Traveliner-Bus
• suburban railway "S1" or airport bus "Jasper" from Hamburg Airport to Hamburg main station Jasper Airportbus, afterwards: train Hamburg- Luebeck Deutsche Bahn

Trains from/ via Hamburg main station to Luebeck take about 50 minutes and run once or twice an hour during day time Deutsche Bahn.

• motorway "A1" from Hamburg towards Puttgarden/ Fehmarn, exit "Lübeck-Zentrum"
• motorway "A20" from Rostock towards Luebeck/ Hamburg

Both the Luebeck University of Applied Sciences and the University of Luebeck are located on a common campus approximately five kilometers south of the "Altstadt" Luebeck (old city center).

From the central bus station (called "Zentraler Omnisbusbahnhof (ZOB)) which is next to the central train station, take bus number 9, 19 or 17 (depending on the time of day) towards "Universitaetsklinikum/ Hochschulstadtteil": Stadtverkehr Luebeck/ public transportation Luebeck

via train

From the central station in Luebeck take the train towards "Bad Kleinen/ Neubrandenburg" which will have one stop in "Luebeck- St. Juergen". From the St. Juergen train stop it is about ten minute walk via Mönkhofer Weg to both universities.
